I ran with everything I read on the internet, joined all the groups, purchased all the supplements and gimmicks and it was not working. My health issues were mysterious and serious.  

    Thankfully I enrolled at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to learn how to eat and live as a sick person. I just wanted to salvage some quality of life. That is not what happened. About three months into my wellness training they offered a gut health course. I enrolled in that too. By the time I graduated my 22 symptoms and conditions were gone. I was able to learn about the holistic methods that work and helped me get my microbiome back on track. I went from doing what didn't work to what absolutely works.

    Why low Fodmap friendly foods?

    Low Fodmap is commonly recommended by doctors, FMD's and other practitioners to help relieve certain GI symptoms. It's not a long term solution but meant to be a reset. Many experience major reductions in symptoms and impressive improvements. 

    I heard low Fodmap was extremely restrictive, is that true? 

    Low fodmap is extremely restrictive when you only look at the don't eat foods. When you see all the do eat foods and menu suggestions it is not so restrictive. It's also a temporary reset and is not recommended long term.
